Situated in the Tonkin Gulf, Halong Bay is one of the world's natural wonders - a bay with more than 3, 000 islands, which time, wind and waves have sculpted into fantastic shapes. The best way to appreciate this magical scene is from a boat, cruising between these karst cliffs, which loom like fairytale castles, complete with rocky spires and hidden caves. The bay is dotted with many tiny islands, pristine sandbanks on the turquoise water providing an excellent backdrop for swimming or just sunbathing on the boat deck.
TOUR PROGRAM
Day 1: Hanoi - Halong - Catba Island (L/D)
AM: 7: 00 - 8: 00 depart to Ha Long Bay. Arrive Ha Long Bay at 11h30. Lunch on boat. PM: Cruise, visit SUNG SOT cave, fishing village, swimming, sleep on boat/ hotel in Cat Ba island.
Day 2: Catba National Park and Kayaking (B/L/D) AM: Bus transfer to visit Catba National Park. Lunch. PM: Boat trip to cruise on Lan Ha bay, Monkey island (Third Cat Dua), free for swimming and row kayaking. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Catba.
Day 3: Catba - Halong - Hanoi
AM: Boat trip back to Ha Long Bay. Lunch. PM: Return to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at 16h00.
